Ultimate Warrior Movie??
Opening scene:
Action scene. One guy beats up a whole lot of people escaping from a medical facility with lots of security.
Two of the guards that got beat up get up and start chasing. Their run leads over a back causeway past a arena with fights going on. Crowds watching and screaming.
The guards run up to an elevator and hit the call button:
- I’ve never seen anything like that. He went through us like weren’t even there. What was going on in there?
2: Well, you know how the Arena finds the most incredible unknown fighters in the world right?
- Yeah.
- Well, do you know how they find these masters?
- No.
- They kidnap loner athletes and download the recorded memories and training of the best fighters in the world into their brains. Then they dump them into the arena for a good fight. There are no victims to worry about because their brains stop working in about 4 hours.
- So?
- Well, one guy lived.
- And get this. Usually people can only take one or two downloads before they start losing brain function but this guy took all 5. The tech’s said he knows everything there is to know about fighting.
- So what are we going to do if we catch up to him?
- Call for back up. Lots of back up.
X runs down a street and breaks into a backdoor. Stumbles in the darkness into a room.
Woman: Who’s there? Who are you?
X: I’m X. I just escaped from The Arena. I need your help.
Woman: Take whatever you want. I won’t move.
X: I’m not going to hurt you. I just need to hide for a little bit until it’s clear. Listen to me. They kidnapped me and did something to my mind. I have the memories of other people.
Woman: You need help. Let me call a doctor.
X: You’re right but I can’t risk anyone locally. The Arena will be looking for anything in this city. Don’t worry, I now know somebody that would be perfect. (Pause, smile) I don’t suppose you have any clothes that would fit me?
Daylight
Woman: I’ve got to go to work now.
X: Could you drop me off at the marina? I’m going to catch a boat.
Woman: Sure. Not a problem (somewhat scared).
X: Thank you. Trust me, it would be in your best interest to not mention this to anyone. If you think I’m some escaped loony then watch the news. It would be a big story. But if there’s no story then maybe I’m telling some truth and we’re both in danger here.
At the marina:
Woman: Here you go.
X: Thanks. Remember, none of this happened.
X walks directly to a boat named “Tigershark”, jumps in, reaches around an anchor and produces a key, starts the boat and drives away.
X arrives at a dock. Goes up to a big house overlooking the ocean.
Dr.: Who are you? What are you doing here? I’ll call the authorities.
X: If you did that then I’ll have to tell them about the steroids you gave to dozens of athletes.
Dr.: What?! How’d you hear about… What do you know?
X: I know everything. I even remember this house. You’ve gained lots of weight.
Dr.: I don’t know you. How do you know this house?
X: Listen to a story.
Dr.: So you have Max Rankon’s memories?
X: Don’t worry about that Dr. I don’t have any desire to tell your secret to anyone. I just want an opinion on what’s going on in my head. I feel fine but I want a professional to say it.
Dr.: Well, I can help you a little but my specialty was pharmacology and sports medicine. The brain is a little out of my league. I think that you’re up and alive means that you’re ok. If you give me a second I can get you the name of an expert though.
X: Do you know anyone who’s trustworthy? You and Max went through some tough times together and I trust you. But you have to remember that I’m the only evidence of the crimes being committed by a major corporation. Anyone I talk to is in danger.
Dr.: I’ll do what I can.
Dr.: Go to this address. They’re expecting you and they are discreet.
X: Can I take the Harley?
Dr: Do you know how to ride a bike like that?
X: I do now.
Bike rides off.
Dr2: That was fast. I thought I wouldn’t see you for another hour.
X: With my problem I rushed.
In a consultation room. Starts putting up x-rays and other brain scans.
Dr2: Well, I see a little swelling but everything looks fine.
X: I’m not going to die?
Dr2: Not from this. Do you feel ok?
X: I feel great. I had a pretty dull life but now I have the memories of some of the most exciting experiences of all time.
Dr2: So what are you going to do? Can you go to the authorities about The Arena?
X: I don’t know. Maybe I’ve seen to many movies but I’m just cynical enough to believe that they might have more connections than anyone could imagine.
Dr2: But they’re killing random people and you’re the only evidence.
X: I know, I know. They have to be stopped but how do I do that without giving them another chance at me? (Pause) Listen, thanks for everything. You’ve taken a huge load off my mind. I’ve got to go now.
Rides off on Harley
X: (Looking at a heavily secured home. Walls, cameras, actual guards walking around.) The badder you’ve been the more paranoid you become.
Sneaks in, spectacularly beats up guards but no alarm is sounded by the guards due the speed of the assault.
A light turns on in a bedroom waking up a middle aged woman and man. Camera pulls back. X is sitting in a chair.
X: Hello. What’s your name? (to the man)
Man: Larry. Larry Zinter.
X: Larry, about 20 years ago a really incredible promoter teamed up with Randal Merchant. Randall Merchant was a martial artist that had taken his world titles and used them to catapult himself into worldwide fame. They created a new fighting league that just took off. Eventually it bought out all the other fighting associations and unified all the various fighting styles under one brand and got rid of all the duplicative titles.
This worked for about 8 years but for whatever reason the quality of the up and coming fighters started to decline. The promoter was not going to give up the enormous wealth she had grown and looked to some desperate doctors who had overextended themselves financially to come up with a solution.
These doctors started out with steroids and other drugs but that didn’t really make the skills of the fighters any better. So, they looked to digital technology and used it in violation of so many laws that they would have seen extensive jail time. But since everything else they had done was illegal this didn’t stop them.
They found a way to download the skills of a person and then put that information into another person. So what they did to create a new pool of talent was to kidnap athletes and create a fighter.
Did I mention that the process ends up killing the athlete in about a day?
Woman: How do you know this? Who are you?
X: Sally, I’m the glitch from last night. Now what you didn’t know was that the process doesn’t just teach fighting skills. The subject receives the entire life experience of the digital image. I know everything Randall knew. We can’t believe you killed him.
Randall found out about Sally’s new crop and actually thought that their friendship meant something. I don’t know who you think you’re sleeping with Larry but our little Sally is a monster of the worst kind.
Woman: What do you want?
X: Sally I always told you to change that combination to your safe. I’ve got all your records now. They are going to every law enforcement agency I can think of. Even you can’t have bought everyone. I can only see a few options for you: you can turn yourself in for a lengthy jail sentence to atone for all that you have done or you can start running. Me, I’ve run for just a few days and I don’t like it. Make it easy on yourself and face the music.
? lengthy fight movie or on going series based on adventures from the guys new memories?
